Default 05 E Glide classic quick detach options

Ok I just got this toy yesterday. It is an 05 E Glide classic. It does not have the quick detach trunk option.

I was wondering what is the least expensive option to get for this so I can remove the trunk when not needed.

I am also looking at seat options. Although the factory seat is nice, I am looking for an option that is still comfortable for passengers yet not ugly looking when the trunk is not installed. Something a tad narrower in the back but will not ride up the wifes or kids backends.

Oh thanks in advance.

Not sure of what easy option there is other than the quick-detach hardware for the trunk. I had that exact bike previously and really loved the quick detach kit. I had the trunk off the bike 95% of the time but it's only a 5 minute job to have it back on when needed. You can also mount a passenger backrest, luggage racks, etc on that detachable mount so it's a great thing.

Seats? Those are difficult to suggest to someone else cuz everyone is different so a seat that's heaven-sent for one person is a torture contraption to someone else.

I do recall hearing alot about the H-D Sundowner as being very comfortable to a majority who try it. Mustang is an aftermarket seat that's very popular. Corbin's Dual-Touring seat is also popular.

I quess I am looking for an aftermarket supplier for the detach kit. The bike itself was a huge purchase for me so I need a less expensive alternative for a quick detach kit for the trunk.

Ah ok, personally not aware of an alternative but just sit back and lets see if someone chimes in with one. If such a thing exists this group will know about it...

Welcome to the forum by the way, you'll learn alot here as this is a vast and knowledgeable group.
