Yes ever bike is different and so is every Dyno machine. But again the advertised numbers are high. You will be happy with the sound and the running cooler part. The MPG will suffer because of the way PCIII and PCV work with the can map.
I agree the numbers will be different from Dyno to Dyno, but here are the numbers before and after the tune. The original map was a little rich. I have a good guy who is reasonable and he dialed it in very quickly from Jamie's canned map. I was very happy with the original map, even happier after it is tweaked. Getting between 39-44 mpg also.

Red Line is the first run
HP71.18 TQ81.81
Blue Line after tune
HP76.68 TQ91.12
SAE Smoothing = 5

Pros, lots. Con's few. Money is the only con for why not to upgrade. Get used to upgrading your bike as for me it has become a monthly tradition. Something new every month whether it be a bolt, or some new exhaust.

As everybody has said, it will run cooler and as we all know, heat destroys so the bike will last longer, breath better and run better with the combo of a stage 1 kit (no matter what you use-- PC 5 or SEST or something else.) If your not into sound and your happy with how it runs, keep it stock and save your money. Also, gas mileage will suffer with most alterations. Would I do it? No doubt about it.

Amazing how people can claim others numbers are abit off. Then try to qualtify the statement after it being said! Then try to qualify it afterwards! With the Stock MAP and after it being properly Dyno'd My bike runs @ 77hp and 89TQ. So...the other riders numbers are not that far off.

Iclick is right on his pro's and Con's and his answering of the other challenges. The PC-V sold by fuel moto is extremely hard to beat with their usually dead on base MAPs and awesome customer service.

Good Luck on your decision. Listen to the words of those who give you info and not the ones who Nay Say others!

Ride Safe and Choose Wisely! Mike

i went with the pc-v for my 08 sg, and couldn't be happier. and we don't need no stinkin laptops, i just got a usb extension cable, 10' long, and rode my harley close to the window where i got my desktop. there must be a dozen or so different fuel/timing gizmos out there, but remember dynojet is the maker of the power commander, as they also are the ones who build the dynomometers that are usually used. and i felt that there were more tuning wizards who were familiar with the power commander. sorta like wanting a water pump for a chevy truck, or a saab. everyone knows chebbies.
