I cant the the stupid thing to close tight. I can get it down to a 1/2 inch gap left open. Ive already stripped on screw head in the process . Anyone put one on that can give me a hint (or straight out answer) to what i am doing wrong here? The instruction says to leave the original ring in place and the new will fit over it but its not working for me. When i take the old on off the new one is too loose.

I had a problem even getting my visor to go on my 06 Road Glide. I finnaly put small washers behind the headlight mounting plate to the fairing and then it fit ok with a very small gap. Hope this helps.

The mechanic at the HD dealership told me to take off the OEM headlight cover and there is tab that needs to be folded back. Then put the OEM headlight back on and then the visor ring. I have know idea what tab he was talking about and he told me he will fix it next time I bring it in.

I'd like to get some, but don't want the poor fitment. Let us know when its all fixed and if it came out looking nice.
