I know this is going to sound strange but here I go, will duck after posting. I have a 09 lt/dk candy root beer bike, I enjoy Mug root beer and i think the logo they use is cool. The bulldog holding a frosted mug. The colors are great ad would look good painted on the rear fender above the fender light and below the taillight.

The question is this as long as I dont put the words Mug Root Beer would I be breaking a copyright law?

I really wouldn't worry about it! I see logo's on other peoples bikes all the time! Go do what ya want. I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry. You like it...paint it!

Its likely a trademark, and yes you would be in violation - just change it up a bit and put a cigar in his mouth and a V-Twin tat on his mug arm. I love your idea.... *** em if they cant take a joke...

If you used for commercial uses it would be against the law. On your personal bike...

I think if you were not trying to make money or using in bad taste you would not have a problem. They sell t-shirts with the logo on it.

I don't think it would be a problem; young adults around here are rolling 80's and early 90's Chevy's and Ford's painted like M&Ms, Snickers, Cherrios, etc.

Man law? o.O

I think Mug would be pleased to find their logo on your Harley. It promotes their product.
