the cover broke off my cd player on 05 eg and the dealer says i cant order one to replace it any ideas

I saw some where were they had a clear cover for the whole radio , but I don't remeber where. it might work. If somebody has seen this and will provide a link. Just a thought.

It's an 05, should still be under warranty, make them fix it.

Radio Sound is the only ones that can fix it....

Dealer has to remove the unit and send it off to be repaired...

Have an 06 Ultra and today I came out from work and the CD Player door was hanging down. I noted that you had a broken door. Were you able to get a fix?

Hello,
Did you ever find a fix for you cd player door?
Have the same problem, seaching for solutions?

Remove and send for repair, replace....It seems to only be a spring on the door or latch under door...

Went to the dealer, no fix. You, or the dealer, will have to remove the radio and send it in for repairs. I was told $135. for a referb radio. Since I don't use the cd, I put velcro pieces under the corner of the flap. Holds the door closed and if I ever need it, still opens.
