I don't know either meatball. However, I did an experiment and captured pictures of both the Heritage and the Road King (viewed side on) using the moco website bike "color and wheels" selector. By direct visual comparison, the Heritage bars are a LOT taller than the Road King's are. They look like a REAL winner. Thanks for sure.
This is the bar I'm refering to Harley #56902-08 no mod needed made for the 09.
I have this handlebar and like it a lot. From HD's website:
Designed to provide extra touring comfort for the Road KingŽ or Road GlideŽ rider, this 1" diameter polished stainless steel bar has 3" more pullback compared to the stock Road KingŽ handlebar.
Fits '08-later FLHR, FLHRC and FLTR models with stock ABS or non-ABS brake lines. No additional cables or lines required.

Thanks for the insight Twinrider.
BTW - Nice pic with Fuji in the background. Back in the 60's, I spent a ton of time over there, a little in Yokohama but lots of Yokosuka with train rides to Tokyo for R&R and Kobe steak quite a few weekends.
i have heritage bars on my 09 king but i'm putting in an order for 16" wild1s.....once you get a little higher with thebars you wanna go all the way up

Also like that picture. I notice your bike appears to be sitting on a stand of some type, can you tell were I can one of those? the only one I've seen is the the one Harley offers and it won't fit with a oil cooler.

Sure did. Great food and truly friendly folks when I got beyond walking distance away from the base. There were stereotypical (worldwide including here in the US) "businesses" adjacent to the base but a little further away, everyone seemed interested in saying hello to an obvious visitor, answering questions, and offering advise/directions.
