new mufflers for 40 bucks

We had a big lot sale at our local Harley dealership and i noticed a box of SE mufflers for sale by the dealer and after checking them out i found out they were new 2000 touring SE muffs with the extra chrome shield and big end caps just what i wanted for looks. I bought them for 40 bucks and took off the shields and the chrome was perfect so i installed them and went for a ride. They are about the same db as my 09 ultra stock muffs but they have a deeper sound. I just can't beleive i found them so cheap. My normal rule is to buy high and sell low. I may install a fullsac 1.75 baffle latter.

Willie, so....according to your rule, you would be willing to sell the SE's to me for about $25 ? Plus a nominal shipping charge? Seriously, a really good deal. I've enjoyed mine for 27K miles, and they already had nearly 40K on them.

That is a great deal and is exactly why I tell my wife we need to stop at every dealer we see. You never know when you find that deal you can't pass up.
