The DMV in NJ raised our motorcycle registration fees from $31 to $65 without any remorse, even after getting bombarded with protests from riders and some politicians...

Hang onto your wallet because that's just the beginning. New Jersey is BILLIONS in the red (thanks to your Gov. Corzine's wild spending) and they can't just print money like the Feds are doing, so taxes and fees are going to go through the roof.
I moved out of Jersey over a decade ago and never looked back.
I am sorry to hear that.It is a shame that the lack of funding due to incompetence needs to be replenished by the hard working American!
Recently did a 2 year registration here in Fla. 2 year registration was $56.00. I'm sure it will jump up as well. Too bad I could not buy a 20 year sticker at todays rate........
I do miss my home state, the food and even the people. That being said you guys keep voting in theives you get what you deserve. Feel bad for my family still up there getting crushed, but hey I told them to leave.
come on down to la. i pay about $20 for a 4 year tag, and the only time you pay tax on it is at initial purchase. and you get an exemption for the amount of the trade in, if applicable.

When's it going to end...................
Yep...good 'ol politicians!
The Governor of CO recently made a "strategic" decision to raise the fee here in CO by ~$45, so that bridges & roads could be repaired (aka, more money for social programs, to hell with the roads).
The fee was specific to Motorcycles? That sounds like discrimination...Guessing a high $ lawyer could make NJ reverse their decision...:S
