Scratched fender

not to go too far off topic, but the previous owner of my bike decided to mount driving lights on the chrome bar under the fairing... forst time he hit a bump... poof there went the fender.
After the previous owner died and I was given the bike I decided I was going to go get a new sticker and fix the fender.
Even the police bike parts with the 03 winged decals are controled items, no Mr. Neggy we don't sell the decal, the fender is 500 bucks and we want the old one back.
So I buy a fender on EBAY and shoot it in DBC 99 black... but damn I want the decal. So I get out my pick hammer and dolly, mask off the decal, did some good old fashioned pick and file bodywork, primed the damaged section, shot the whole fender in DBC, pulled tape, cleared the whole fender, sanded and buffed it and it looks better than new.
Now my big gripe is the MoCo uses those crappy SHOWA forks.
Oh ya does anyone need a black FLHT series fender?
