Dawg, here are a couple of pics of the custom aux. light bracket/bullet turn signal kit on my bike pre-paint and pre-Motolight installation. I subsequently sold the bracket/bullet turn signal set-up when I did the Motolight install. The chrome brackets are a big improvement over the towel bar bracket IMO:
Also, I edited my previous post to include pics of a 2004 CVO FLHTC front fender showing the paint design for two-tone separated by striping that your painter could do, (without the blue flame pinstripe). IMO, it would be a nice custom touch without being overboard.
When winter rolls around later this year, I'll have my candy red paint as a base and add a secondary color using something similar to the '04 and '05 CVO paint design.
I didn't think you could order a Anniv fender unless you sent yours in? Maybe that is just on the tank w emblem. I guess it depends on where your going w bike but I would keep all original parts (fender stk paint) for resale value. If you detach the tour-pak then your rear fender is just solid and I put a SG type fender to match the back, solid but some think too plain so my vote w/b for smooth fender w black on top. It was suppose to be w/o rivets but my painter gave me the fender and made the lowering braket and then convently forgot to take the rivets out. I'm also thinking of maybe it would look good w black on sides but flare it on the back to match the side covers and saddlebags.
