Default Kuryakyn engine guard????

Anyone running one of these on a RK? If so, do you have pics of it on your bike?

You can see the left one on this pic. I like 'em a lot.

I've seen that guard on a bike an it looks OK to me but I'll tell you what I wouldn't like about it. For me I prefer my pigs turned in a little if not at fwy speeds I find my feet wanting to slide off the end so I was always readjusting them but that could be just me.

I like them because with the pegs folded out, you end up with a very wide place to rest your foot. And you can slide your foot in or out depending on your comfort at that time.

I mostly ride with my feet on the closer in supports. I only have a 30" inseam so I am very comfortable with them there.

Well I had to have one, so I searched around. The cheapest I could find one was about $340. I found one on ebay that was supposed to be a "scratch and dent" deal with only light, light scratches in the chrome. Got it for $200 and I haven't noticed the scratches yet. Just put it on and went around the block to try it out. It's not quite as sturdy as the stock one, but it's stout enough, I think. I wish the peg part was slightly lower though. Makes me feel like my legs are too straight out in front of me, rather than angled slightly downward which is more comfortable. It also allows my clutch cable to flop around more than the stock guard did, and I'm wondering if it's gonna end up scratching my front fender. Was/is that an issue with yours, txfxstrider?
