Just be glad you wasnt on a good day and comin out of a bar half hammered with your music really loud and goin twice the speed limit. You said no plate, maybe thats why he was lookin, well besides the music......what was u playin anyway?
Based on your explination it sure makes you look like the bad guy! I find it hard to believe that you are being completely honest. My reasoning is that after being RUDE to him and pushing the envelope he still did not give you a ticket for not having a plate. This smells like OLD SALMON to me. Sad part is this COP is going to remember you when he pulls over the next biker.....
I have been in law enforcement for 18 years i would have pulled you over for that plate for sure. Being rude to the cop doesn't help your cause at all. All It does is **** the guy off and if he doesn't ride he will screw the next guy over. He will be talking about that stop for days and when he see's you again he will probably screw with you. Trust me i have seen it happen.

+1, gotta agree here. Put your plate on and be nice to the cops. I don't know why you got off without a ticket.

Probable cause to stop again.
could be he was being smart about it and trying to catch a bigger fish later, maybe having a couple drinks after work on the way home instead of a fix it ticket now.
