Either way no big deal Id just get it written off at work by another officer. Officers always give me compliments on the bike when they see it at the shop. Not one has said anything about the dealer plate. They all think its new.
Sounds like you've got a pretty cool setup then. I ALWAYS get the ticket. I could shine the guy's shoes and he'd still give me a ticket.
I've got to agree, you do have one sharp looking bike though!!! Turns a lot of heads I bet.
So you have a sharp looking bike... you do work on the police dept
cruisers.....your license plate isn't properly located, and you feel above the law because the Sargent will write off your tickets.....
Everybody always enjoys loud exhausts and blasting music as you roll by
Funny how that works, isn't it ???
So just so sum it up I got pulled over for having my music too loud supposdly than the officer asked about my plate wich was in the bag but not on the fender. I have a dealer plate on their. Long story short no ticket. Guess Ill have to keep my tunes down I didnt realize that the sound traveled so far. +1 for jl audio and tupac.
Sometimes I have to turn the radio up louder like when my full face helmet is on...id really like to know the legal issue with stereo system on a bike its not like a car the sound travels without boundries so I am curious. Im going to try and find out from some of the bike officers that come threw my shop on that one. Even the exhaust too guys run round here with thunder headers all day long and those pipes sound like thunder!
Last time I read up on it, it had to be where you wouldnt offend anyone more than 50' away. I think thats when everyone had ghetto blasters.
