Default Weird Saddlebag Question

So I have noticed lately that my seat is rubbing on the inside front corners of my saddlebags only when I am riding. I am 6'3" and weigh 225 lbs. I have had the bag brackets off before when I put on the detachable stuff but I marked the spots and have them in the stock location. Is anyone else seeing this on thier bike? I don't want to rub the clear off my bags but that is eventually going to happen. I also check to see if I could adjust the brackets to move the bags back a bit but it is as far back as they can go.

Mappens on my 05 FLHT too, Got 3 different seats and they all do it. Dunno what to do. Maybe like a scotchguard on the bag corners, you don't see em?

I've had the problem in different locations on diff bikes thru the yrs, most recently on the tank where the seat touches it. I fix it by waxing it real good then placing a proportional piece of clear plastic like you would use to seal a card or sheet of paper between for protection. Works great for me and its hardly noticable.

The clear plastic is a good idea. I will have to try that.

My 1997 had no paint left on the corners. I couldnt stop it.

The 09 doesnt suffer from the same problem, the new frame has spaced them further away.
