I bought a J&S jack last week and today I put my 08 RKC on it to clean it. I noticed that when I cleaned the front wheel, it did not freely spin. As I spun it around it felt and sounded like it was rubbing. If I tried to spin it, it would make about one turn. Is this normal, or should it freely spin?
Thanks for the info. I think everything is fine then. I haven't noticed anything different riding (just did 5 hours in the country). This is all fairly new to me and the info I get on this forum is great.

yea, sounds like its just the drag from the calipers and the rotors
Right. You will always have some rubbing; especially with dual pads. One of the things I always liked about the RKC is how easily it moves. If you push it and there is a lot of noise or it is difficult, you may want to check the air or have the wheel balance checked.
The Brembos have more pad area than previous models and have a surprising amount of drag. I was a bit worried the first time i had mine on the stand too.
