48 MPG on the highway, and up to 55 MPG on the secondary roads at around 50 miles per hour. 5 gal tank, the dash gauge reads empty with about 1 1/2 gals of gas left in the tank. I refill based on mileage, the gauge is useless. I normally fill up at around the 200 mile mark just to be safe.
From: South of Raleigh, and west of the coast, NC.
With XiDE'S got any from 40-43 mpg now with PCIII installed I get 38 mpg......A little loss of mpg for a little boost in power....Trade one for the other..
I am getting about 38 miles (61km) a tank. Usually fill up at 5-5-1/2 gallons so I am getting around 190/210 (305/337km) on a tank fill up. I have SE slip-ons and an oil cooler. Now, my milesage goes through the roof when I get real gas. This ethanol **** cuts down my mileages. I get up north in Wisconsin, get some real non-reformulated gas, and the I get about 5 miles better for gallon.
im getting roughly 36.5 mpg with the fuel light coming on between 160 to 170 miles. probably should be getting better but recently installed fuelmoto dynotuned rushmufflers, pcv, and screaming eagle air cleaner. The bike just sounds to good now need to take it easier on the thorttle.
I have got between 390 - 450 kms on each fill. Mix of highway and city riding. Also, I fill it as much as she will take but I have never put more than 19.5 liters in. According to the manual, a complete fill would be 22.9 liters, so I could probably hit 500 km on a good tank.
07 Ultra - 5 gallon tank..
Generally speaking, I'm getting in the high 30's to low 40s for MPG.. so that's 130-170 miles till fuel up time.
I have the same bike and get the same mileage: high 30's to low 40's depending on riding conditions and my wrist action & maybe 45-46 when I really take it easy. Before my FuelMoto stage 1 kit I got about 4 MPG better. It's worth the loss!
08 Road Glide. V & H True Duals, Supertrapp mufflers, K & N air filter, 21,000 Kms on the clock.
I get anywhere from 280 to 330 Kms (best) until the light comes on. The weather and driving conditions (2 up, city, secondary roads, highway) will make a difference. I have yet to fill it and go for a highway ride for a whole tank to see what it will do. Maybe this summer. I do notice it's hard to fill the tank to the top, it seems to have a baffle in there to prevent over filling.
On another note, my 02 EG Standard got around 280 - 300 per tank with the TC88 motor. Modified exhaust and I did the carb until it ran good.
I thought the bigger tank on the 08 would increase the Kms range, but on the other hand the 96 has a lot more torque in 5th (and 6th) that the 02 Standard was missing, so I guess it's an even trade.
