Detachable Nostalgic Rack Issues
I have detachable Tour Pak, and Sissy Bar set up on my 08 Electra Glide Classic So Im goin to Americade and really don't need the added weight of using the Tour Pak so I decided to go with the Nostalgic Det Rack PN#53743-97 and use a bag Well I mount the Rack no problems and then realize what about the antenna, shoot!! so I get the antenna relocation kit # 76208-07 and rush home Install it then I realize its for the Street Glide FLHX and the antenna wont fit because of the Bag Guard, no problem bend it a little and It works well almost perfect but I don't know If I like the way the antenna sort of lays back below the bag guards. I'm thinking then I realize the rack is really for a Road King as they dont have an antenna!! Duh the HD Instructions are titled "FLHR 2 Up Rack ????? Anyone put this set up on their Electra Glide what did ya do with the antenna issue a hidden one or what? Think Im gonna sell the rack after Americade and just use the TP for trips? Anyone?
