Have HD covers on saddlebag lids. Like others say - helps with boot marks on lid. But, yeah...HD=hundred dollars.

Would be curious about other makers that have storage compartments that either zip or tie down to them.

I now prefer my bike without..but to each his own.

The covers are ok quality and do the job, but the glue that is on the velcro fasteners is total junk.
Sticky crap oozing all over every time I got into a hot day, wrinkled covers, flapping leather lids... it was a poor experience for me.

I vote no..

You could also just get the Clear Bra material applied on top to eliminate scratches. I plan to do that to mine because I don't care for the look of the covers or the lid rails.

Bought the HD ones and never installed them, went with the Mustang ones instead, better fit & no velco! I won't waste money on the HD ones, check out Mustang for about same cost but much better product.

I read somewhere that heating them would help them fit. WTF? Mine need to be stretched about a half inch longer to fit correctly. Any advice?

I have them on my 09 SG and they are great. The only complaint is that the straps are white. I have a black bike so I took a permanent black magic marker and colored them so the white wouldn't show.

Never have experienced this down here in Texas where it has been in the 100's.

I think your referring to the RideTek Lid Haulers and yes they'll fit your bike and I've heard good reports about them.

Anybody with Mustang covers tell me how they attach?
