Ok, I have the "accessory" TBW harness (has no green connector).
Now, instead of the nice colors I can follow in my Service manual for the hook up, I have 2-reds, 2-blacks, 2-white wires.. Does anyone know the sequence for hooking these up? I know it's a reduntant set up, but just need to know the sequence...
thanks!
It's been a while since I did this but assuming that you have the old twist grip sensor, lay them side by side, make sure that they are indexed appropriately (line up the notches on the sensors) and mark the new wires with the same colors as your old wires. Then everything will match the diagram. If you don't have the old one, it's going to be a bit more complicated.
Yeah, i got nothing as far as old harness or anything... got the bike back from the dealer (who could not run the harness through the bars, took me 23 minutes to do it....Another story)
i'm flying blind so to say..
i'm headed there after lunch to see what those hacks say.

The dealer could not run the harness through the bars? Sounds like the dealer just didn't want to do it. Removing from the old bars and running through the new ones might have taken me 5 minutes. Sweepers +2.
Had same problem a year ago and you guys were great! I thought by now HD might have put a small slip of paper in the box with the match-up. Wishful thinking I guess.
