I don't plan on buying one but thought those of you who do parade duty might be interested. Looks to be a great alternative to the huge fan that would replace your horn. My guess is that it would be more efficient at cooling the motor as well.
If your driving in 101 degree heat, and 40 mph, you cooling your oil which would be in the 200+ range. I understand you want something for stop and go, but under normal conditions.... why a fan? If you riding averaging 35/40 mph or more, do you need a fan?
today was the first day i rode the bike when it was gool out. we went through the mountain pass temps 85-90`ish themps held at 200-220 range. nice and cool.
i have seen some posts with some 09 hitting 260 in 85 degree weather
as for the warranty, yea kinda short. but it is a well built product
If you check the web site, I do believe they are developing a fan that adapts to the Harley premium oil cooler. Check under Harley Upgrade on their web site. It is due out soon.
Thanks for posting the picture of the cooling unit. I went to the web site and couldn't locate the unit. I found the girls draped over the bikes and completely forgot what the thing looked like that I was looking for.
