Just for the record...I was not mounted on my scoot while filling the tank. This is something I never do, thank God. I sure would not like to have a underwear full of 91 Octane

Spilled gas sucks ! This usually happens right after you have your bike all cleaned up too. The one thing you don't want to do is wipe the gas off with one of those paper towels they have by the windshield washer. They'll scratch the hell out of your clearcoat.

Pulled away from a pump with the hose in the tank

I once got in a hurry with a car full of kids and pulled away from the pump with the nozzle in the gas tank. I pulled the hose out of the pump and gas was all over the place, not to mention f*#king up my car. "STUFF HAPPENS"

At least it wasnt diesel....friend of mine did that once. Luckily a local farmer was there to take it off his hands...and the brand new fuel can he had to buy.
