Look for a straight pipe with no baffle. I put MO's on mine because they sounded great at idle. Not so much at highway speeds. Stay away from them if you want LOUD.
I just switched to the SuperTrapp 2:1 and had the dyno it without the end-cap installed......great sound (along lines of Thunderheader) but better quality in the fit/finish (imho)
Get Vance and Hions true dual headers with samson 33" silver bullet fihstail straight pipes. It will LOUD! Performance wise you could do better though. Baffled pipes will be quieter but perform better.
Got Rienhardts/Reinhearts......however you spell it..I never memorized it...on my 09 Glide. Pretty loud but not annoyingly loud. Gonna toss a cam in it. That should make it "just rite". Love it now though...
I don't understand wanting volume for the sake of volume. I am looking for new pipes more for the added performance than the over all volume of noise.
to each their own though I guess.
I would second those that have said straight pipes no baffles. Cheapest method would probably be to drill out the baffles on your stock pipe and re-flash the ECM.
