thats cool, ive done the same on my 05 with no brace and no sign of any wobble either. i think it has alot to do with proper alignment, and tire inflation, but without a doubt the new frames are much much improved.

Im more interedted on how u kept up. Mine still seems underpowered on that level. Im hoping for a stage 1,then will go for the 110 or bigger. In my opinion these bikes could be the bike to clip the "Wing"s off Honda on touring performance. Just wish they came stock w/o CVO.

CVO aint much. I rode a 110 2 weekends ago and it just didnt have the go.

Better to buy a 96 and do it up, unless the CVO bling does it for you.

I just figured that it was just a shortcut to having to do it yourself. So getting the 96 and doing the upgrades on your own will give you more "umf".

Depends how much you want. I would say the 110 would benefit from a cam change, intake and exhaust and it would be reasonably quick. But think about what you pay for a CVO. My bike cost me about the same as a CVO with upgraded cams etc etc and it will comfortably kick its head in. But it doesnt have the bling bits. Depends what floats your boat.
