Default Sring Vibrations

I live in Sparks,Nevada and have been down to The Spring Vibrations Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Feel bad for both the Bikers and Vendors cause it didn't stop raining all weekend. Talked to some riders from Stockton or down by thee and they came over Hiway 88 which is normally a beautiful ride this time of year but they ran into SNOW on the top to the point that one dropped his scoot(he said he was almost stopped so did no damage) but still sucks. They said they followed the plow over the top. Can't believe the FRIGGIN' WEATHER this year!

Me either!

Mid 60's in the AM for the ride to work and only mid 80's (so far) on the ride home in the evenings. DURING JUNE IN TEXAS!?!

I'm probably on the flip side of your coin though, cuz I'm LOVIN this!

But yeh...Mother Nature must be a Gemini. Can't seem to make up her mind this year.

Sometimes in June we can go a full month & not even see a cloud ...so 8 straight days of rain/drizzle (a 45 yo record for June) with temps 12 deg below normal is a shock . Considering that Reno/Sparks only averages 1/2" of rain for June, we've gotten 1" already & more maybe coming this weekend. Not much compared to the downpours Ive seen in GA & FL, but for us, its alot. We live in a high desert region at 4500 ft elev & it has snowed on in the mountain passes on July 4th.

However, when its dry to normal..... this region has 1000's miles of some of the best riding roads in the country. So... ya live with lifes small disappointments.
