Will you let me know how you make out with Lyndall? I too bought the gold pads. I was thinking, hey only another 10.00 they must be better. This past weekend they start squealing like stock pads. If Lyndall offers to replace them for you, I'd be interested in knowing that.
At this point, I don't plan to use gold pads again.
I just installed lyndal gold on the rear of my 08 Ultra. Been riding for a week now. More pedal pressure is needed to get the same braking as with the stock pads. Anyone else notice this?
Had the same problem with the GOLD pads on my 09 Ultra.Drove from Pa. to Key West and after 3100 miles in one week the wheels were filthy. Called Gary (CEO) and complained. Told him I had the Z+ red pad on my King and always had clean wheels. They sent me 3 new sets of Z+ red free of charge. I had to send back the Gold+ brakes to credit my card. As of today 500 miles later clean wheels and more stopping power.

Yes, that is the first thing I noticed.
I called them about the dust issue and they told me to clean the calipers and if that didn't help they would exchange them for Z+. I'm going to call them again Monday and tell them to send the Z+. They worked great on my previous Heritage so I expect the same on this bike. I hope they realize that the Gold+ cost more than they Z+.
Always used Z+ Pads with great Results and don't see any need to switch from a winner like that have worked well on my Sportster and Heritage both when time am sure will be happy with them on my FLHT although see no need to replace them until it's needed...
I only bought the Gold pads because no one (including Lyndall) had the Z+ and couldn't tell me when they would get them. I loved the Z+ on my previous bike, but these Gold+ don't do anything for me. More pressure for the same braking as stock and the same or more dust than stock.
