OK, no pics coming but my wife did her first long ride of the season with me this weekend and hates the Sundowner. Too hard for her tastes. Bad news is that I like the Sundowner much better than stock. So we have a dilemma. Did a search and didn't find too much help.
Any real experiences/suggestions on a solution? Thought I might send off to Mean City for rework. Or Air Hawk pad. Maybe a gel pad.

I got the Jumbo pad with memory foam and sheepskin cover. My wife loves it. Makes the long rides more comfy.
Get a medium Air Hawk pad. You won't be sorry. I have a gel pad and the Air Hawk and there is no comparison on the long distance comfort. It's worth the cash. If you get the medium pad you can use it for yourself when the wifey isn't along.
Wife thinks she'll like gel better than an air pad like the Air Hawk. Might have to try both; I like the idea of using the Air Hawk when she's not with me. Although I just finished a 3,000-mile trip and no problems for me with the Sundowner. That's why I'd like to stick with it.
Keep the suggestions coming, please, if you have them!
I've read where others on this forum say that the gel pads absorb heat from the sun if you leave them sitting on your seat for any amount of time and don't like them for this reason.
