Just wondering what your volt meter reads at Hi-way speeds? Mine reads 15 volts at 60 mph. Dealer says its normal but I know on a car that would be over charging the battery. 09 Ultra Classic.
May want to put a multi meter on it. The gauge could be off also. & if you run more lights & electrical items, it may not all be going to the battery to charge.

My 09 reads 15 too. I asked about it at the 1000 mile service and the dealer said it was normal. I agree that's a little high for an auto system.
