I was going to get that, but the 06 radio system plays MP3's on the cd player now.

I have one on my 05 Classic and love it. I don't bother using the CD anymore. No skips ever and 60 or more songs on a postage stamp size SD chip. Yes, it plugs into the aux port for audio output but you also have to give it power from under the fairing. The controls arent quite as easy as the CD HB contols but their not bad at all even with gloves on. If you get one check the setting of the internal A/B switch mine came set to the lower volt setting and untill I changed this I was very dissapointed in the volume.

Looks pretty nice in my opinion. If my radio didnt already have the mp3 feature in it i would go that route for sure. Just swap chips if you filled on up. Pretty nice

I have one and love it. I moved the AUX jack to the back of the radio, because I didn't want to look at the wire plugged in the radio face. Also bought a bigger SD card for it...350 songs.

I did one of these on my 05 Ultra a few weeks ago - had to learn allot before I got it right - so I want to share my experiences to help you out. I think it is AWESOME.

DON'T WIRE POWER THRU THE FAIRING - PAIN IN THE A$$!!!. Really not worth the hassle unless your gonna take it off for something else.

I went to Radio Shack and bot a 12v adaptor (they offer a gazillion types) to use with the useless cigarette lighter and hard wired power under and across the fairing. Looks/works fine.

Source line MUST plug into the AUX port - no way around it as far as I have heard.

And you HAVE to change an inside switch on this MP3 player from A to B (or vice versa) or your output will SUCK BIGTIME. PEZ of Hogtunes advised me on this.

With the right switch position and HOGTUNES, you will NOT, I repeat NOT, hear even straight pipes on the highway. The music is LOUDER and CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!!

Only draw back - a 1 gig SD card runs out of space at 660 meg - no ways around it - a file size/OS issue - holds about 150 songs on mine.

Send me an email if you'd like to exchange tunes - and that goes to anyone. I'm into Rock & Roll of all types. dchoran@athenet.net

BTW - black plastic model is like $100 cheaper than chrome version. HOPE THIS HELPS. And here is a closeup:
