I am sure that this tuff to answer, but how is the sound on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being very loud and not something that you would want to listen to all day and other people behind you would not care for it??

Thanks

The Bassani Road Rage is loud!
I love mine.
I'll put my Bassani up against anyone's FatCat that's willing to pay dyno time and do the pipe swap.
Same bike, same conditions, 2 pipes.
The Bassani is a torque monster.
But it AINT quiet!

Hell, I'd like to know myself.
Anyone loan me a FatCat?
LOL

On my Night Train I have run V&H Big Shot Staggered, Rinehart 2 into 1 and the D&D Fat Cat.

The BSS were LOUD....and I like loud...or at least I thought I did.

The 2 into 1 pipes are sweet sounding. At part throttle and idle they are a deep and bassy sound. You can easily tool through the neighborhood at part throttle and not be that loud. When you whack the go throttle it will change tone and really start to wail. It's still an awesome sound that is deeper with more bass than a regular 2 into 2 pipe.

I think they sound awesome and wouldn't call it a loud pipe by any means. It sounds good...just not blatty like some 2 into 2 pipes can be. I also have the regular baffle in mine, the quiet baffle is even a bit more quiet than the regular.

Hope that makes sense.

The Road Rage is a great pipe too...but it isn't going to perform any better than a Fat Cat. They are probably at best, very similar. I don't have any experience with a Road Rage but the gear heads always seem to end up with a Fat Cat. I polled guys like PhilM and Steve from GMR and those guys on what pipe to use and it was unanimous...Fat Cat.

Doesn't take me 2 hours to watch 60 minutes.

Might wanna check back with PhilM on his thoughts about the Road Rage.
I spoke to him yesterday, at length, about motor combo's for my '09 RG.
Ask him if he'd run a Road Rage.
His thought on them is a bit different than it was a few months ago, from what I gathered in the conversation.

What does he have on his own bike?

Listen..I am not knocking the pipe...I am just saying that when it comes to performance you won't find much, if anything, better than a Fat Cat. I am sure the Road Rage is a great pipe but it doesn't have the track record yet that the Fat Cat does.

I looked a a variety of pipes before switching. I looked at R/H 2-1 and it sounds good.

I like the dual look on the bikes with bags. So I went with these.

D&D Fat Cat. I like the sound and it isnt that loud.
