Default 2 into 1 Performance Pipe, what works?

I have been running Hard Krome 3" True Dual for 3 years on my 2006 Street Glide, after doing a cam change they got a little louder.

From talking with my tuner he is telling me that I pretty much have drag pipes. I am looking to go to a 2 into 1 I would like to gain better TQ have a decent sound, but not so much that I am going to pi$$ people off that are riding behind me.

What have you found for a good 2 into 1 pipe with good performance and good sound? What did you look at before you bought the pipe you have?

I have seen a set of Vance and Hines that sounded pretty good, and I have seen the 2 into 1 Rinehart too, but have not heard how it sounds. Seen and heard the Thunder Header and it sounds like it could be a bit loud.

What do you folks have for good opinions on a 2 into 1 pipe?

Thanks

I had the same issue with my V&H Big Shots after my cam swap. Many opinions on which is best. I decided (after much reading here) on a Fat Cat with the (not so) quiet baffle. Here's a clip with Andrew's 26 cams and the Fat Cat.

I wouldn't consider a single other 2 into 1 than a D&D Fat Cat. They will all work better for power but I love the Fat Cat exhaust note.

I have one on my Night Train but I want to stick with the duals look on my Street Glide.

Does this have different baffle setups to it to quiet it down? I had not heard of different sets of baffles??

Thanks

I have thought the same thing about the look for 3 years too, but I really would like to gain some TQ back from my setup. I am trying to keep my self from going to a 95 build, and woud like to go to a 2 into 1 to see if I would be happy with bring the TQ up a little bit.

Thanks
