How come that the 6th gear light won't work ?

The light gets the signal from the ecm which has determined you are in 6th from speed and rpm calculation. By changing the primary gears the calculation is screwed up.
Or, something like that.
I'd be careful with that Evo 30 tooth conversion, I put one in my bike and it was a noisy piece of crap and I took it back out.
It did make the bike snappier but the noise was terrible, I talked to several people from here and I talked to the manufacturer and everyone one had something to blame it on, but the bottom line was the chain that came with the kit was a piece of crap compared to a Harley chain, it had almost 30% more side play the the stock chain and that's what was making 75% of the noise I think the other 25% was loosing the compensator.
These are my findings, if you want to buy one cheap mine will be on EBAY in the near future.
