I have a clearview -1 and a Cee Bailey Euro 15" and i have not noticed any vibration. I did on the stock harley as they are so thin.

Love both shields both have there place.

Cheers

Get a clearview and be done with it.

You'll realize how thin and flimsy the stock shield is.

I may not have the spelling right but has anyone tried "klockwerks" as a windshield? They are pretty popular around here. The one's I've seen are short and shaped to deflect wind away from the rider.

I have an 8" solid black Klockwerks windshield and I actually threw the factory one back on the other day and took it for a spin to see what the immediate difference was. Well...First thing I noticed was the top of the windshield was right in my line of vision, then I noticed the same vibration at idle and even going down the road...it just seemed flemsy. It helped reduce the wind compared to the klockweks but it also had this slight buffeting effect which is annoying as hell.

I drove the bike back home and immediately switched it back to the klockwerks windshield. I do get a slight turbulant wind with the low profile kockswerk shield but it is much stronger/sturdier shield, doesn't impair my line of vision, and looks much much better IMO. I think a 10-12" Klockwerks would be perfect for me. 5' 11" in height.

I can still drive down the highway at 80+ miles and hour and not feel direct pounding of the wind. I drove it 6 hours straight the day I bought it and it didn't wear me out at all. Some people may not like it but they might as well just buy a glass bubble to mount over their bikes. I've heard great things about Cee Bailey's windshields as well.
