Jiffy Stand Question for FLHX09
Man I love this place.
Had the same question about the Jiffy Stand. Was going to start a thread Iffy Jiffy Stand but did a search first and found this thread.
Answered all my questions about the forward roll and me freaking out that it was going to go down.

Thanks for the posts on this. I was looking at after market stands and figured I would check the forums before spending $200-300 on a new one. It has had me nervous, the wife freaking out about it, and everyone who looks at it saying they would replace the jiffy stand immediately. I just came back from the garage to check that the stand on my '09 Ultra was indeed locking for me. I feel better now but I will still have to explain to everyone who admires the bike that it isn't going to fall over if the wind blows on it. Seems like a PR opportunity for the company if so many people lack faith in the stock design.
