If the security light is lit when you turn on igninion, does that mean you have the system. I bought my bike used and I'm not sure where to find the security module. Just hoping it's not active or something...

 

did the seller give you a fab (remote ) for it??

 

if you have a 2007 with no key FOB and the bike starts you don't have the system. the 2007s alarm automaticly sets when you move the key FOB 8 feet away from the bike.

 

No fob given to me, it was a trade in though. I know I've still got keys from cars I've traded in Is the module under the left side cover?

 

I made sure my bike doesnt have that system and It still turns on a brief sec when starting just as a system check so you probally dont have it!1

I bought the bike used from a friend of mine....he has the Harley security system where the ignition is cut off when on and also he has the siren.....and he also has LOJACK installed....where if the bike is moved I get an early warning call and txt message on my phone....so if someone steals the bike...I give em props LOL
