use cation the aux port is VERY fragile it will crack u will lose the conection if u pull the cord or hit it in any way.
That's a good point of advise! I found a cable with very lightweight 90 degree ends on both sides, it makes for less chance of hitting the connection. The straight ones stick out, and would act like a lever if you accidentally hit it.
I ran the aux cable into the tour-pak along with a power supply and antenna wires. Now I run my Sirius or ipod from inside the tour-pak. Sounds good and not affected by rain or vibration.
My wife has one but its only good for about 2 hours between charges.
The iPhone connects to the power point on the bike, so I'm good to go with no concerns for battery life.
Also - greatest thing in the world for iPhone is PANDORA app - as long as I'm within the general range of data, I get great sound quality tunes for free - no XM subscription required! Plug the iPhone into the Aux port and you're all set.
