I'm prepping to do my 10k service. I'm also going to change my rear brake pads. I'm trying to put together a parts list for the service, and am trying to find the best spot to pick up my gaskets, o-rings, and the special purpose grease. Can you please review the list and see if I'm missing anything below.
- AMSOIL SAE 60 (4 Qts)
- AMSOIL 20W50 for Primary (38 Fl. Oz.)
- AMSOIL 20W50 for Transmission (32 Fl. Oz.)
- Oil Drain Plug O-Ring
- Transmission Plug O-Ring
- Primary Plug O-Ring
- Oil Filter (does anyone have a recommendation other than HD?)
- Gasket for Clutch Cover
- Special Purpose Grease (HD Part No. 99857-97)
- Rear Brake Pads (I'm currently deciding between HD and Lyndall)
- LOCTITE Anti-Seize
I would go with the Amsoil MCV 20W50 oil for engine and SVG 75W110 for trans. I would get parts from HD including oil filter. May want to get a trans. dip stick o-ring.
I'm going to do SAE 60, because I have the 103 kit with cam and heads, and I'm running in a drill team in Florida during the summer and the heat is brutal.
Do you use the 75W110 in the Primary and Tranny?
I'll add the tranmission dip stick o-ring to my list.

Let me know if I'm missing anything.
Thanks,
Dave
Are you just wanting to change pads or they actual wore down that they need replaced? I'm only asking because I have 93K+ miles on my 07' UC and still have the original pads on front and rear. Just seems like not many miles for a set of pads.

My 10k is coming up also. stick with the HD filter it is 1 of the few items they have that really is the best for your bike. I use the 20w50 in south Louisiana with no issues.
I'm using Amsoil 75W-140 in the tranny. Seems slightly quieter. Mobil One 15W-50 in the motor.
Anyone use SAE 60wt? How is it for general use in summer? I'd think it would only be advisable for extreme heat environments like in Phoenix for example - the manual says over 80* F for 60wt oil. Just curious if anyone uses it routinely in summer?
What about those 3 washers for the derby cover? The ones that have the rubber on the outside. I didn't see them on your list. The service manual recommends replacing them everytime the derby cover is off.
You listed a gasket for the clutch cover. The one I have is re-usable. There is a big o-ring in there as well but if you have the gasket, then the o-ring isn't needed. Kind of like a belt and suspenders.
