cutting down windshield

I have cut several shields. I found that a band saw works better than a jigsaw. Smoother cut and more control. After sanding use a little lacquer thinner on a rag. Just damp and turn the shield up-side down to prevent any from running down on the shield. And yes the blue painter tape works best! If you are cutting several inches do a practice cut before doing the final cut. Or better yet do your buddys shield first!! Just kidding!

Check out the 17" Clearview reverse curve shields,big improvement over
a cut down stocker,been there done that.
