I just purchased a used bike. The guy before me seemed not to know how clean a windshield. There is surface scratches in the shield. They are noticable sometimes when riding but noticable when you are stoped. What I mean by noticable is you can see them but if you run your figure nail over them you can not feel them. Do anyone have an suggestions on how to correct this with out going out and buying a new shield. Just trying the inexpensive way out.
I did a search and came up with nothing so that is why I am asking.
I think I would just buy a replacement windshield and start over new. You'll probably wind up going that route anyway one day, so might as well eat the cost now rather than after you've spent money on ways to hide the scratches. Just my opinion.
The more I think about it. It seems like that is way I am going to go. What the hey its only money and if I could see better thats all that counts. Sometimes when you try to cut corners you spend more money thengoing the other way from the begining. Speaking from been there done that. [sm=icon_beat.gif]
JRNEAN1 I sent you an email. I have a new windshield from a 2007 Road King Classic if interested. It is the lexan only no mounting brackets. $75 shipped
