I hate to bring this up, but some dude on another forum is claiming that the 09 touring frame is "pending obselete" according to HD Net website. Changes are being made for the 2010 touring frame. Another poster says that at his dealership, 14 bikes are in the shop with stress fractures occurring in the rear pinion boss area, and new frames are addressing this problem. Yet another poster claims that any aftermarket head pipes for the 09's will not fit on the 2010's. Did anyone here hear of any such problems?

If this is true, maybe they are making a modification to existing frame to beef it up and possibly have a recall in works.
Why would they abandon the new frame after 1 year since they specifically designed it to be able to build the trikes?

I haven't heard anything but first year anythings always need a little tweaking. I loved my 96 RK but they changed the frame after the 94-96 bikes and it was always a pain finding parts.
