Wheel polish

When I had my bike apart I decided to polish my wheels. I tried everything; Mothers, Mequiers, never dull, and steel wool. I had limited success with the water spots but used alot of elbow grease to achieve results. Last Saturday I was at a Harley dealer with one of my friends when my friend and another customer struck up a conversation about polishing wheels. He recommended semichrome. I was reluctant to buy it since it was about $9 bucks for a small tube and everything else had failed thus far. With just a little polishing, my wheels look 10X better, not perfect, but a vast improvement. My friend has a 05 classic and mothers worked very good to restore the shine to his wheels but the 09 wheels seems to be different. I'd recommend if you are having a difficult time polishing the 09 wheels, give semichrome a try.
