I purchased a set of the Stainless Steel AM/FM/X weather band CB antennas from Antenna X on March 3 2009 they have a web site as well as selling on EBay Model #AX-182 I received them with no problem ,the problem started about 3 weeks ago in May so the antenna were only about 2 months old .The group I ride with went down to the keys for the day and on the way back the top mast of one of the antenna broke off ,upon inspecting the entire antenna I found that the base where it mounts to the shaft were very loose and rocking back and forth these are pressed in joints so the is no tightening them so I thought with the excessive rocking and vibration it caused the top part to break off ,so I tried to get in touch with their customer service to see what could be done either a warranty or purchase of the top mast of the antenna. Well its been a little over 2 weeks with 3 emails sent to the site cause they don't list a phone number asking just that warranty or purchase and not a single reply ,so if your looking for antennas to replace the tall ones on the tour pack do yourself a favor and stay away from www.AntennaX.com as if you have a problem I doubt they will get in touch with you
Thanks for letting me vent

These are the ones that I bought.....the antenna was getting loose from the mount that you screw onto the bike....I put some blue locktite on the bottom of the antenna..they had a small thread there..then I screwed them back into the mount....I have had them for around 2 months with no problem so far..
hope they get back to you...they seem reputable.....
Had the same problem with antenna X. Bought two for my ultra, one for my mustang. One snapped after three weeks, the others after about two months. After many emails with absolutely no response from them, I said the hell with 'em.
They just lost another customer. They have a cheap price, but their quality is worse and customer service doesn't exist.

Same story here. Bought a pair of the 26" ers. lost a whip. Sent 3 emails asking about a possible replacement and have been ignored. I did find a source for .055 stainless wire at 'smallparts'. a 30" piece plus shipping is less than $6.00. The irony is that I would have bought a replacement had they answered me.
I would suggest that the website here takes a closer look and possibly removing this company from advertising on our Forum!! as i take the companies suggested here very seriously and most of my business goes to companies who are promoted here.
I bought short antennas for my Ultra. Never would work and couldn't get them to reply. Also paid with them with PayPal and Ebay wouldn't help either. Guess they don't care that people sell crap on Ebay. Antenna X has been on there for along time. Glad you bought it up.
I bought a rubber ducky type antennae from them. The tip was loose in the package when it arrived. He told me to glue it back on. Never again from this company.
