Default RK console insert change

Has anyone changed the tank console insert on their bike(RK).I have scratched mine with my jacket zipper while moving the bike around. It's not hard to do.I have the new insert .There's no instructionswith the new one.I gather its got an adhesive backing on it.Any tips on changing it.I did do a search but couldn't come up with anything.Thx for any help.

I did mine on my RG, it's a sticky mess to clean off the residue left by the old insert. Just make sure you get it all off or the new insert won't lay flat. Use some Goo Be Gone or a similar product to remove it. I used some lighter fluid and it worked OK.
