btw, Camelbaks are a great way to stay hydrated in hot weather. Fill it halfway with water, freeze it over night, then add cold water in the am. It'll stay cold a long time!

In Phoenix either you ride when it's over 100 or you don't ride..... I had to start a new job that was 110 miles from my house. Swing shift. So I have to ride 1:00 in the afternoon to get there. Once I'm out of the city and can get up to speed all is well. After work ,around 1:30 A.M. A nice cool 85 degrees all the way home with few cagers to worry about. I guess living in Phoenix, heat is not so much of an issue as snowbirds and little old ladies in Sun City.
You want to ride you ride or you don't...... Phoenix ....Over 100 degrees for over 100 days is the norm and it don't start to cool down till after midnight.
