I purchased a pair of pre-owned Jackpot's from a HDF member and installed them a while back. Now I'm seeing that there apparently is a left and right side. Supposedly they're marked on the flange where the JP's slip onto the header pipe. I pulled the RS off today but saw nothing stamped L or R, there were no stickers or marking of any kind. I know that the right side baffle would be where the difference in size would be, but both my baffles appear to be the same size. Is the Left side/Right side only valid if the baffles are different sizes, or....??
The right baffle is a little larger than the left. When I purchased my Jackpot mufflers, the right was 2" and the left 1-3/4". You might want to call Jamie or Keith at FuelMoto, they might be able to help.
Left side has a reversion cone in it. Look down thru the muffler from the inlet side, one is wide open, one should be partially blocked. The wide open one goes on the right side. Left side is partially blocked, it forces more exhaust thru the right side creating a 2 into 1 exhaust effect.
All of the above is correct if you have the Jackpot's with the Dyno Tuned Baffles in them. I believe they also sell them with regular baffles in both. Might want to check with the guy you bought them from and find out weather they are the dyno tuned baffles or symmetrical in both.
If they are the same, you can always get the left Baffle from Jamie at Fuelmoto to get the real performance benefits of these mufflers.
Classic Jackpots have identical-sized baffles left and right. Dyno-Tuned Jackpots have the reversion cone on the left side and it is easy to see with a flashlight. The Classics are interchangeable but the DT's are definitely not.
think id stick to standard baffels on the 09 the stockheadpipe it esentially a 2-1 the reversion cone makes the crossoverpipe on the older bikes act mpore like a 2-1
What does the Reversion Cone on the left side do for the 09's performance?
I have more exhaust coming out of the left??
If you have more exhaust coming out the left side you have them reversed, more exhaust should come out the right side. I bet the way you have them installed the left side is also louder.

Check fuelmotousa.com There is a pretty good boost even on the 09's with the Dyno Tuned Baffle.
