Well, I didn't forget the kickstand but I did forget that I had a front disklock on! I managed to go about 6 inches before there was a crunch and I ended up on my ***! Lucky for me the only scratch was on the engine guard. I am now the proud owner of a bright orange disk lock reminder cord
I cant believe what I did. Spent a great day riding with a friend of mine. We did about 110 miles just enjoying the sites. I get back to my house, and get ready to open my garage door. Well, when I got off the bike I forgot to put the kick stand done. So, there is 900 lbs coming down on my ankle. I was able to move but I scratched the chrome on my footboard and the chrome pegs. My friend was hysterical laughing at me for 5 minutes until he was able to take a picture and only then did he help me pick up the bike. Im afraid I may have to kill him if he circulates the photos LOL. So, who else out there did something stupid? Please share
I once forgot (don't ask me how?) to put my feet down at a stop light and down we go my ) 02 lowrider and me,talk about embarassed.
Not to hammer on ya but that's what I call a real brain fart. Between my two bikes I haven't dropped one not putting the jiffy down twice, foot didn't slip in gravel parking lot with wife on board, and not pushing SG into garage over lip in floor weight shifted away from me, after teetering for about 15 seconds, and into the wood lathe she didn't go. Its getting to where I don't even get mad any more.
