I noticed this post, looking a bit lonely on page 5 with no responses and I have to ask:

What is this "Canada" you speak of?

Seriously now - I suppose they deserve a day of some sort. A happy one to ya, eh?

Thanks for the well wishes.
Personally I had a great day. Spent 6 hours on the bike riding with a bunch of friends, got sunburned and later went to check out the fireworks with the family. Good day all round.

Having said that, hope you crazy Americans have a great 4th of July holiday.

My family does both days as I am Canadian and my wife is American.
