Yep, I understand of which you speak! They can be even more difficult to recover from. Still, I'm glad you've got physical soreness rather than physical disability after your fall. Sounds like a new bike is in your near future.
Just think of the sermon you can write from this experience, you had a heck of a ride and lived to talk and laugh about it, someone was watching over your shoulder. From looking at bikes on crashedtoys.com, I would venture yours is totalled. But if they do, remove all your accessories and add on's and put it back stock before they come and get it. You can use them on your next bike or sell them, I would by the tourpak relocator right now if it was for sale..LOL..Glad to hear you are ok and it was a miracle you walked away.
I'm so glad you didn't get more hurt. It was so nice talking to you the other day, and here I am reading this threat about your accident. Man, you're lucky!
YOu mentioned something about your helmet...did you get your head checked out thoroghly? I just heard too many tragic stories about celebrities that had even minor accidents, and a day later they're gone! I don't want to scare nobody, but better safe than sorry.

Take care of yourself, and keep us posted.

Head fine. A momentary lapse of good sense, but head ok. I've spent a couple of hours in the pool and the weight off my leg felt great. Yeah, helmet was the first thing the hospital wanted to see.

I was at the top of Nick-A-Jack Road coming down from the Lookout Mountain Parkway. I would add, a nice ride. I recommend it to anyone. By the by, went back to the wreck site and found my guardian bell. Still haven't found that new Hugger glove to match the one that came out of my saddlebag.
