Default Changing Handlebars 07 RG

I bought a 07 RG without stock handle bars, these are 38" width, I'm 5'-8" and they are too wide for me, I want to get a narrower set of HB's, my question is will I have to get NEW lines, etc. instead of utilizing the existing lines? The dealership had anticipated replacing all the lines but they have not yet seen my bike. Any advice?? Very Exp is the lines have to be replaced.

I put a pair of wide glide bars on mine, I think a few others have also. They dont require a cable change and they are a little bit taller. Somewhere on here there is a thread with the handle bar comparison of a few different types, and the thread starter was even putting them on an 07 RG. Do a search and you should find it.

They may be a liitle long but they should work oK.
Maybe the clutch might need replaced depending on how long it is.
