I purchased the Fastaire 8" smoked and its great!! Quick shipping and very easy install and at $27 easy on the wallet!! Took a long ride with and without momma and both of us like the extra air (south Florida summer) and the new look.
Yep - - Ya'll hit it on the spot - - I got my 8 inch dark smoked from Fastaire back in Feb 05, had it on since - -love it - - I keep it waxed with a good carnuba based wax, no blems, fades, or scratches to this date - -knock on wood!!! but, I only paid 27 bucks - -- what a deal!
This is a well-timed post for me. I removed the stock windshield on my Ultra and replaced it with a 6" from HD. I am 6'3" and I feel like I need something in between the 12" and 6". Almost bought an 8" from HD today, but saw this post and just put a call in to Jim and got a 9" on the way. Thanks Guys![sm=smiley20.gif]
I bought a 6"dark and an 8" clear. Had the 6" on for a while back in April but it was too much air for the cold mornings. Put the 8" on and have had it on my 2006 Ultra ever since. 8" seems to be the perfect height. I have since referred several friends to Fastaire and every one of them is very pleased with the value.
I also bought a 8" dark smoked windshield from Fastaire last week. I am very please with it and the quality of the windshield.
I called Jim up and ordered it over the phone, I had it in two days and even got a call back letting me know it had shipped out as I was told.
First class service and product!!
I ordered mine via text message . . . well, sort of.
I sent a text message at about 9:30 and asked Jim to call me "when he got a chance" - he did, and I ordered my new 8" Sunglass at about 10:30 that same morning (Tuesday).
I had it in my hot little hands by Noon today! That's 72 hours - and that's freekin' awesome for $37.00 !!!
