Our local dealership is flooded with consignment and trade in bikes but the prices do not reflect it, consignment bikes are customers asking price plus what Earl want to make on it..

I have not picked it up yet so photos will be next week.
The reason I have not shared the deal is the inevitable reply of could have done better. I am in sales and I have learned a good deal is "a deal you feel good about". I do. Or I should say I did......
I am selling my 2003 BMW K1200LTE. Everything was working perfectly until a few days ago. I thought I just needed a new fuse to get the radio system working. No such luck. The radio is cooked - $1,000 fix. Yes I have checked crash recovery sites, Ebay, and the like for a possible alternative. NO luck.
So, moral of the story is saved some money in one hand and spent it in the other. Nobody died. Nobody got hurt. Like marches on.

I still look forward to the new ride.
True enough, if you are happy that's all that matters. Me, I got chitty deals on both of my bikes but was still happy as a clam to have them.
